    Metropolitan Biosolids Center - City of San Diego
    Design and construction engineering services including project engineering, CADD services, development of operation and maintenance manuals, shop drawings review, review of test report submittals, handling requests for contract interpretations and clarifications, and preparation of record drawings, The facilities included site development, utilities, concrete structures and mechanical and electrical equipment. The operation and maintenance manuals include three volumes: Volume 1 - Operations Manual, Volume 2 - Standard Operating Procedures, and Volume 3 - Maintenance Manual.

    Repair of Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant - Yermo Marine Corp Logistics Base Provide site investigation, surveying, laboratory testing, engineering, and design/construction documents to renovate and upgrade a 100,000-gpd domestic wastewater treatment plant. Total construction value of this contract is approximately $2 million. Services include the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and bench scale testing to determine design criteria for the removal of phenolic compounds. Final treatment scheme will consist of primary treatment, extended aeration activated sludge, secondary clarification, ozonation and/or activated carbon filtration and final disposal to percolation basins.

    Point Loma Pump Station - City of San Diego Planning, design and construction of a pumping station, pipelines and biosolids processing facilities including thickening, digestion, dewatering, truck loading and odor control facilities. Construction cost is over $200 million.

    Inland Feeder Design Services - Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Developed plan and profile maps showing topographic, hydrogeologic features, borehole logs and cross sections for the San Bernardino section, Contracts 3 & 4 of the Inland Feeder Pipeline project. The maps were prepared to Metropolitan specifications and format using Intergraph MicroStation 3D. Also, provided project engineering and administrative support services for the Inland Feeder Tunnel Design Project for the Santa Ana River Wash Tunnel segment.

    Filtration Plants Ozone Retrofit - Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Provided design support services for retrofitting Jensen and Mills’s filtration plants with ozone disinfection. The work involved preparation of P&ID using Intergraph PDS, and civil work using Inroads software packages.

    Mead Adelanto Environmental Mapping Project - Department of Water and Power Developed computerized maps for 207 mile Mead-Adelanto Transmission Line project. The maps were developed using Intergraph and dBase software to document design, land ownership, reclamation, biological, cultural and paleontological features along the transmission line route prior to construction of the project.

    Bay Delta Project Database Development - Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Planning Division Developed a database and imported data to populate the database. Created programs to query, display, and print data reports.

    Stormwater Automated Mapping (GIS) Project - City of Los Angeles Public Works Department Performed QA/QC of the converted maps. Prepared a listing of the discrepancies found between the original paper maps and the newly created GIS maps so that the discrepancies could be resolved. Currently, preparing documentation for the GIS databases.

    Power System Inventory and Database Management - Department of Water and Power Assisted in conversion of hard copy maps to electronic maps using Intergraph and database program. The work involved map conversion and checking electronic maps against the hard copy maps.
